Our Story

Secret Stitch Co. was founded in 2024 by me, Alexandra Hanson. The daughter of a quilter, I learned to quilt in elementary school. I always with had an artistic spirit, attended Savannah College of Art and Design, receiving a masters degree in Fibers. Later, I went on to work in the fabric design department at Moda Fabrics. I loved getting to work with the designers to bring all your favorite fabrics to life, but always wanted to own my own business.

I started Secret Stitch Co. to bring you beautiful quilt projects. My goal is to always combine patterns with lines of fabric in ways you may not have seen, or expected. I want to make sure everyone can find their next project, no matter their experience level or budget. Small and large projects are all welcome here.
