Bug Collector by Sweetwater is for the little ones who crouch in the grass with a jar and a notebook, counting ladybugs and spelling out the names of the beetles they find.
The Andy quilt gives those prints room to play. Eight fat quarters are cut into simple squares, with off-white sashing running between them like garden paths. Choose the Pink colorway for blush bugs and soft pink plaid, or the Orange colorway for leafy bug nets and bright orange squiggles.
Andy finishes 48" x 48", a good size for a toddler bed or a floor quilt for story time. The pattern is from Jennifer Jones of Penelope Handmade, and it's a happy first quilt: straight seams, big squares, and sashing that keeps everything tidy.
